The Prime Minister has returned from the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Samoa, where leaders declared the Pacific faces severe challenges from natural disasters.

New Zealand is contributing $20 million help the Pacific boost its climate resistance but this comes amid criticism of what are being called backward-looking policies at home.
