Schools, daycare centres and community classes can also resume, and all government workers can return to full working hours.

Businesses will only be allowed open between five in the morning and nine at night, although there are some exceptions including for the StarKist cannery.

Flights to the country from both Hawaii and Samoa remain suspended.

American Samoa is free of any confirmed cases of the coronavirus, making it the only United States jurisdiction without Covid-19.
