The Tokelau office in Samoa is still awaiting results of elections held on Atafu and Nukunonu this week.
The elections are held every three years to select the faipule, village mayors and general fono delegates.
Officials from the Office of the Council of Faipule in Tokelau could not be reached and election results have not yet been passed onto the Tokelau Government office in Apia.
