Nearly 2000 more workers will be able to come to New Zealand under changes to the Recognised Seasonal Employer scheme.
The Government today announced the largely-Pacific labour scheme's cap will increase by 1,750 to 12,850.
Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway said it will help meet labour shortages in New Zealand and match future growth.
He said the Government will review the RSE scheme next year to ensure it meets its original intent.
