The family of a Lower Hutt woman who died in a fall from a Gold Coast high-rise is expected to head to Australia this week.
Warriena (Rrie) Wright fell from the balcony of a 14th floor apartment in Surfers Paradise on Friday.
Detective Superintendent David Hutchinson of Queensland police said the death was still being treated as suspicious and the police wanted to hear from any witnesses who had not yet come forward.
He told Radio New Zealand' Morning Report programme those who had come forward said there was a disturbance at the apartment before the 26-year-old fell.
Mr Hutchinson said apartment owner Gable Tostee has met the police with his lawyer but exercised his right to remain silent.
