Some members of the Netball Fiji Council are calling for a special general meeting where they are expected to put through a motion of no confidence in President - Alisi Tabete.

Western Netball Associations boss, Eparama Turaga has called on the NF secretary - Patricia Mawi to call for the special meeting in Suva this Saturday.

Turaga says most of the council members want all officials who took the Fijian side to the World Netball Championships to step down.

If the meeting does take place - Vilimaina Davu could lose her job as the coach of the national side.

Team manager Asenaca Waqanivavalagi has already indicated she will step down this week.

NF secretary - Mawi says she can't make any comments and will issue a press statement today.

Meanwhile - Fiji's Government has no problems with acquittal of funds used by Netball Fiji in the preparation and participation at the WNC in New Zealand.

Sports Ministry permanent secretary - Subhas Chandra says to date all reports have been received.
