Police in American Samoa are investigating two separate incidents that claimed two lives over the weekend.
The first case was an alleged drowning that occured Saturday afternoon off shore from Avau point while the victim was out surfboarding.
The second was an alleged suicide later in the day which if so, would be the tenth this year in American Samoa.
Police have yet to release the identity of the two victims described only as males while investigations continue.
