The Supreme Court in Samoa has released on bail a 55-year-old man facing a murder charge.
TV1 Samoa reported Taofinu'u Vitale of Falealupo faces the charge after the death of a 50-year-old male from the same village on Savai'i.
His lawyer, Leota Tima Leavai, asked the court to bail her client until his trial which has been set to start on the 1st of July this year.
Mr Vitale has been ordered to surrender all travel documents, report to police each week, not to return to to his village and not to make contact with witnesses.
