A 14-year-old boy has been charged with manslaughter in Australia after a woman was stabbed to death in a confrontation over egg throwing.
Four other young people have been released without charge.
Police say the 47-year-old woman and her husband were confronting the group for throwing eggs at her house and car in Melbourne.
The ABC reports the boy allegedly stabbed the mother-of-three just after 8am on Monday.
Her husband tried to revive her, but she died before paramedics arrived.
A friend of the victim's says there is always trouble in the area and residents are often too scared to go outside at night.
