All Whites goakeeping hero Mark Paston has extended his contract with Wellington Phoenix and will stay on with the capital club till the end of the next A-League season.
Paston's currently out with a broken leg.
He joins fellow custodian Reece Crowther and utility Troy Hearfield in agreeing to stay on in Wellington for another year.
The Phoenix have now re-signed a significant core of the current squad for next season including skipper Andrew Durante, New Zealand internationals Leo Bertos, Tim Brown, Ben Sigmund and Tony Lochhead as well as imports Paul Ifill and Chris Greenacre.
