Today is the third and final day of a New Zealand's first mass Covid-19 vaccination event. Over the past two days, more than 10,000 people have received the Pfizer vaccine at the Manukau Events Centre in South Auckland.

The vaccinators need to see about 5600 people today to hit their target for the three days - and about 1500 people have been vaccinated in the first two hours this morning.

There were two new cases and one historical in managed isolation reported on Friday.

In Fiji, there were 1121 new cases and six deaths in the 24 hours to 8am yesterday, while south-east Queensland was put into a snap lockdown yesterday after six new locally acquired cases of the Delta Covid-19 variant were reported.
