A woman extradited from South Korea has appeared in court in Auckland charged with murdering her two children.
The 42-year-old who was extradited from South Korea was granted interim name suppression.
She appeared at the Manukau District Court this morning and was remanded in custody.
She spoke briefly through an interpreter asking to address the court, and spoke to her lawyer instead.
The children's remains were discovered in August by a family who had bought the contents of an abandoned storage locker in an online auction.
The woman who is now charged with murder has been in custody in South Korea since September and was brought back to Auckland by three police officers yesterday afternoon.
She spent the night at the Manukau police station before her court appearance.
