Coronavirus: Chinese NZers urge clearer advice from officials

With the death toll from the coronavirus now at 25 and more than 800 people infected in China, many Chinese New Zealanders say clearer advice is needed from authorities here.

Originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the virus has spread to countries including Thailand, Japan, South Korea and the United States.

With many people returning from New Year celebrations in China and the new school term about to begin, panic is growing in the Chinese New Zealand community over what they say is a lack of information from the government.
