The former Zimbabwe international Paul Strang has been appointed coach of the Auckland cricket side for the remainder of the season.
Strang steps into the role as a temporary replacement for Mark O'Donnell, who's been seconded as Black Caps assistant coach during the India tour.
Strang will be assisted by former New Zealand international Matt Horne.
