The Special Rapporteur for Myanmar, Tom Andrews, is calling for strong co-ordinated action from United Nations countries to end the military coup in Myanmar.

His comments come after at least another seven civilian killings by armed forces were reported in the last 24 hours.

Amnesty International has released a new report that shows extensive evidence of systemic and premeditated killing by the army in Myanmar. It has accused the army of going on a 'killing spree'.
