In a decision released this morning Justice Moore said he was satisfied the publication of the accused's name could prejudice his fair trial rights.

The reasons he gave for continuing the suppression order are also suppressed.

"I am satisfied that publication of the defendant's name would create a real risk of prejudice to the defendant's fair trial rights," Justice Moore said.

"The suppression orders I have made are not permanent. They will remain in place for as long as the court is satisfied it is necessary to do so. They will be the subject of review."

A hearing was held on 7 February to determine this.

The accused pleaded not guilty to murdering Ms Millane, and will stand trial in November.
