The New Zealand stock market finished the week on a high, at levels not seen for weeks.
The NZX Top 50 Index ended up 2.9 percent, by 306 points to 10,779, gaining four days in a row.
The market finished Friday at levels not seen since early March, or at levels last seen in November.
The rest of the Asia Pacific markets were also more upbeat, taking a lead from Wall Street, which also finished up overnight.
