Umaga takes over as head coach of Counties

The former All Black captain Tana Umaga has been named as the new head coach of Counties Manukau.

Umaga replaces Milton Haig who has taken up a role with Georgia.

Umaga has been a player coach with Counties the last 2 years.

Counties Manukau CEO Andrew Maddock says Umaga's experience, wealth of knowledge and coaching skills are greatly valued and they're looking forward to their players continuing to benefit from him.
