The New Zealand singer and song writer Ella Yelich-O'Connor, known as Lorde, has won the award for the Best International Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards in London.
She was up against stiff competition in her category with big names such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Janelle Monae and Pink also nominated.
Lorde's Brit Award follows a double-win at last month's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where she walked away with the Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year honours.
In other awards, One Direction won the Global Success award and David Bowie took out British Artist of the Year.
