A serious crash near Templeton in Canterbury has closed a section of the West Coast Road.
The road is closed east-bound following the two car crash near intersection of West Coast Road and Miners Rd.
Police warned there would traffic delays, and drivers should find alternate routes if they can.
Emergency services were at the scene.
