Immigrants on the cusp of residency hit by Covid-19 setback

Families who were on the cusp of gaining residence when coronavirus struck are in despair they may lose their immigration dream at the final hurdle.

Skilled workers have lost jobs or been on reduced hours, and the visas of one family who had been in the country for more than a decade expired while they were out of the country.
