The 43-year-old mother of two was reported missing on 6 March last year.

Yesterday, police carried out a number of search warrants at properties in the Parakao area.

Detective Senior Sergeant John Clayton said after receiving fresh information today, officers were focusing on a rural area on one of those properties.

He said police had reached a "critical point" in the investigation, but was unable to provide further comment at this stage.
