The head of the New Zealand cricket selection panel, Glenn Turner, is sticking by his battered test side, after retaining all eleven players from last weeks ten-wicket loss against India for Thursday's second test in Napier.
The only change sees the withdrawal of paceman Brent Arnel, due to a side-strain injury.
The Black Cap bowlers struggled to make inroads in Hamilton, with James Franklin and Kyle Mills collecting just one wicket between them, at a cost of 217 runs.
But Glenn Turner says if players were dropped every time they failed you'd be changing half the team every week which doesn't make any sense.
