Eight ni-Vanuatu nurses have gone to Nauru to work.
The Daily Post reported that the nurses included some who are retired, others on holiday and graduates from Anne's Christian Community Health School.
Their recruitment came after a call from Nauru's Ministry of Health last year for Pacific Island nurses to help it deliver good quality nursing care to the people of Nauru.
