ANZ netball premiership schedule unveiled

A condensed ANZ premiership netball season will kick off in early March with the Mystics hosting the Southern Steel in the tournament opener.

With the Silver Ferns defending their World Cup title in South Africa in July, the competition will be played over 12 weeks with the final series at the end of May and start of June.

There will be a return to Saturday night games along with double-headers.

The opening game will be played on Saturday March 4th.

The defending champions the Pulse host the Magic in Palmerston North the following afternoon and the Stars hosting the Tactix on Monday March 6th.

There will also be a new venue added to the calendar with Mainpower Stadium in Rangiora to be used for the first time as a home court for the Tactix.
