The Wellington Lions coach Jamie Joseph says they're looking foward to the afternoon match against Bay of Plenty at the Westpac Stadium on Saturday.
The stadium is expected to be packed with free entry being offered to local rugby clubs and children for the top of the table clash.
Joseph says the team hasn't played many day games as professionals
He says they'll get up in the morning like it was back in the day, put their boots on and go out and play.
