Worries about injuries to Welsh players

There's some anxiety in the Welsh rugby camp over the fitness of their first five Rhys Priestland and lock Luke Charteris ahead of their Rugby World Cup semi-final against France on Saturday.

Priestland, 24, and Charteris, 28, both have shoulder injuries, but hope to be fit in time.

France won their last three Tests against Wales.

''They are very tough,'' said Wales assistant coach Neil Jenkins on Monday. "I think if they turn up with their 'A' game, they are one of the best sides in the world.

"It is a big game Saturday, but we haven't achieved anything yet," he added. "We have a lot to play for and this is a great opportunity.

Wales reached the Rugby World Cup semi-finals at the inaugural tournament in 1987 but have never been in a final.
