A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after a shooting in South Auckland last week.

The man was expected to appear in Manukau District Court this morning.
Police found a critically injured man on Bairds Road in Ōtara shortly before midnight on Friday. He died at the scene.
A second person was taken to hospital with injuries but has since been discharged.
The man charged with murder was expected to appear in Manukau District Court today.
A 30-year-old man was earlier charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
