The woman has described being pulled into a grey car with two people in it on the corner of Hardy Street and Vanguard Street, near the central city between 8.30pm and midnight on 19 September.

She said she was driven to Motueka where she was assaulted, then dropped back at the location from where she was taken.

She said a woman wearing a pink coat was walking past at the time. Police said they wanted to speak to that woman.
