A man's body has been found floating in the water north of Waihi Beach in Coromandel.
A boat from the Waihi Beach Surf Club found the body about 200 metres from land in Homunga Bay about 7pm on Tuesday.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the man's drowning and trying to identify him.
