16:09 pm on 17 March 2009

Six empty bank bags taken during an armed hold-up have been recovered from a stolen car used during the robbery.

A heavily disguised man made off with more than $200,00 on Friday from outside a branch of the BNZ on Great South Road.

A security officer from Armourguard was preparing to load the money into a van when he was confronted.

A stolen white Subaru Impreza used in the robbery was found on Monday and police are carrying out forensic tests on it.

Police say five black canvas bank bags and one orange bank bag were left behind in the car.

They are working to establish the Subaru's movements after the robbery.
