Police have arrested four men with links to the Tribesmen gang following raids in Christchurch connected to shootings last weekend.

Shots were fired at properties in Spreydon, Dallington and Riccarton on Friday and Saturday night. One of the properties is believed to have been targeted by mistake.

The arrested men have been charged with a number of offences and police said they anticipated more arrests would be made.

Guns, ammunition, a large amount of cash, drugs and restricted medicines and weapons have been seized in searches of properties across the city.

Police said searches were continuing at an address in Hoon Hay.
