Auckland police are holding a training exercise this evening in the suburb of Manukau.

There will be an increased police presence in the centre of the town between 5pm and 10pm.
A number of police will be carrying firearms and loud noises might be heard.
The police want to reassure the public that there is no cause for concern as it is a routine training exercise.
