Sri Lanka are playing Scotland at Hobart in the Cricket World Cup group, and the Sri Lankans won the toss and are batting first.
It's the final group game for the Sri Lankans, who can improve their playoff position in the Black Caps' pool if they can win.
Sri Lanka are currently in the fourth and final quarter-final place but could climb above Bangladesh with a win, and even finish second in the unlikely event that co-hosts Australia lose their last pool game, against Scotland on Saturday, also at Hobart.
Scotland can't make the playoffs now.
