A stretch of State Highway 1 remains closed after a person was killed when a truck rolled and caught fire.

The vehicle was southbound from Bombay Hill when it crashed shortly after 11.30am near the Beaver Road off-ramp.
The highway is closed in both directions between Mill Road and Nikau Road - and is expected to be closed until this evening.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at the Bombay Hills, while northbound traffic is being diverted at Pōkeno.
The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene.
Police advise motorists to expect delays if they are travelling through this area.
