A long-running dispute at Auckland's ports has been resolved after three-and-a-half years.
The Maritime Union said its members had accepted a proposed deal with the council-owned Ports of Auckland and a document would be signed soon.
Attempts to settle a collective agreement for union members have been underway since late 2011, with strikes disrupting container shipping in 2012.
Auckland Mayor Len Brown said the agreement would provide much-needed certainty for port staff.
Ports of Auckland has welcomed the settlement.
