Brodcaster Patrick Gower is presenting RNZ's Nine to Noon programme on Monday morning.
Gower, a former Newshub correspondent, previously hosted King's Birthday Morning with Paddy on RNZ National on 3 June.
That was a one-off show for the journalist best known for his television career.
Gower will be interviewing Internal Affairs Minister Brooke van Velden and of AUT Gambling and Addictions Research Centre director Maria Bellringer about concerns about online casino regulations.
He'll also be looking at low farming confidence and check in with Middle East correspondent Sebastian Usher.
