Canterbury and Tasman are through to the final of the NPC premiership following wins over Counties Manukau and Taranaki respectively.

Canterbury were first to make the final after they beat Counties Manukau 22-7 in Christchurch.
The red and blacks bounced back from their loss to the same team last week to book another home final.
The hosts took a 17-0 lead at half time after tries to hooker Ben Funnell and Jordie Barrett.
Counties struck back in the second half through flanker Jordan Taufua to get within 10 points and put continuious pressure on Canterbury.
However when Canterbury halfback Jack Stratton scored a try off the back of a messy Counties scrum in the 68th minute the match was put beyond doubt.

In the other semi final the Tasman Makos upset hosts Taranaki 41-29 in New Plymouth to book their ticket to Christchurch.
The vistitors lead the match from the get go and even when Taranaki got within five points with five minutes to go, a try to Marty Banks off the back of a crucial turnover in the final minutes of the game sealed the win for Tasman.
