Australia's Covid-19 cases rise a worry for NZ

A look at the worrying situation in Australia now where the Delta variant of Covid-19 continues to spread through New South Wales. Victoria remains in lockdown, and while restrictions have eased in Queensland, a lockdown is in force in Cairns after a taxi driver tested positive having been infectious for 10 days. But it's New South Wales that is the big concern, with 262 new cases reported yesterday. Watching on from New Zealand, University of Otago epidemiologist professor Michael Baker told our producer Matthew Theunissen what he thinks about how the various state governments are dealing with the outbreak.
