06:49 am on 27 March 2019

The case of two sisters who went missing in the Northern Marianas almost eight years ago will be featured on a US television programme.

Faloma and Maleina Luhk, aged 10 and 9 at the time of their disappearance, were last seen waiting at a bus stop shelter near their home in Saipan on May 25th, 2011.

Their disappearance will be featured in Investigation Discovery channel's "In Pursuit with John Walsh" this Thursday in the US mainland with simultaneous global broadcasts.

The sisters' disappearance sparked a month long search but no trace could be found.

The Guam office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has a [www.luhksisters.org website] dedicated to ongoing efforts to locate the sisters.
