Fire has gutted two units in the Dunedin suburb of Wakari.

Firefighters were called to the duplex in Mayfield Avenue shortly before midday.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said the house was well ablaze when firefighters arrived, and four fire engines were called to bring it under control.
The spokesperson said no one was injured.
However, the Otago Daily Times reported a dog may have died.
A fire investigator is looking into the cause of the blaze.
