The police in Fiji arrested 26 people for drunk driving over the weekend.
FBC News reported 11 drivers of those drivers were on provisional licenses.
The Police Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho said 325 people had been arrested for drunk driving for the months of July to October.
He said more lives would be lost this festive season if people didn't understand the danger of drunk driving.
There have been 54 deaths on Fiji roads so far this year compared to 47 for the same period last year.
