A person has died after a crash on State Highway 57 near Palmerston North.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash between a car and a bicycle at the intersection of Aokautere Drive and Polson Hill Drive just before midday on Tuesday.
Police said one person died at the scene and enquiries were ongoing.
Police have also named the person who died following a crash involving a farm vehicle on Stanleys Road in Otaio, Canterbury, on Saturday.
They were Waimate teenager Ben Patrick Morresey, 16.
