Police have named the boy who died after falling through a roof in Timaru last night as Jordan Logan McKeown.

Detective sergeant Greg Harrison said the 14-year-old was playing with friends on a roof at the Caroline Bay Carnival area about 7pm yesterday.
Mr Harrison said he fell through the roof and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
