Track cyclist Aaron Gate and sailor Jo Aleh have been named New Zealand's flagbearers for the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

Aaron Gate was a team pursuit bronze medallist back at the 2012 London Olympics, and Jo Aleh is a two-time medallist, winning gold in the 470 at the London Games, followed by silver four years later in Rio.
