There has been more glory for New Zealand snowboarding star Zoi Sadowski-Synnott on the slopes of Europe.
The 24-year-old has won her first FIS Snowboard Slopestyle Crystal Globe, after winning the final Slopestyle World Cup event of the 2025 season in Flachau, Austria.
Sadowski-Synnott produced a solid qualification run on her first attempt, nailing a front blunt 450 out of the A-Frame rail and a large backside double corked 1080 in the final jump.

The run secured her top spot, ahead of the final round, which ultimately was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
As per FIS rules, results were able to be taken from qualification and as the top qualifier, Sadowski-Synnott took the win, ahead of Annika Morgan of Germany and Japan's Mari Fukada.
"Bummer that we couldn't run today with the conditions, it was just a bit gnarly," Sadowski-Synnott said.
"To qualify in first and then manage to get this result and walk away with the Globe feels pretty unreal because I've never had one of these before," she said.
The battle for the snowboard slopestyle Globe was tight, with Mia Brookes of Great Britain finishing in second place, 12 points behind Sadowski-Synnott, and Kokomo Murase of Japan rounded out the standings in third.
Sadowski-Synnott is just the second New Zealander to win an FIS Snowboarding Crystal Globe, following Tiarn Collins securing the men's snowboard slopestyle Globe in 2022.
"It's actually insane to win this, given the level of competition these days is crazy," Sadowski-Synnott said.
"I'm so inspired riding with all the girls and stoked to be back among them [following an ankle injury].
"You just never really know what's going to happen, and we've got World Championships left, (I'm) pretty excited."
The World Championships are being held in Switzerland next week.
