The New Zealand rugby sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has named a 20-strong squad to take part in the first training camp for the upcoming World Series season.
The camp takes place in Mt Maunganui from Monday to Wednesday.
The squad includes a mix of last year's champion team and some who have yet to play for the New Zealand sevens side.
A number of players from last year were not considered because of injury and ITM Cup commitments.
The first tournament takes place on the Gold Coast from October the 13th followed by the inaugural Argentinean tournament at La Plata from October the 20th.
