Several minor parties in French Polynesia have joined independent candidates to contest the provincial elections on May the 23rd.
The parties to sign up are Ai'a Api, Here Ai'a, la mana te Nunaa, which have no members in the territorial assembly.
The Tahitipresse news agency says they are joining the leader of O Oe To Oe Rima, Ronald Terorotua, and independent Chantal Tahiata.
The proposed cooperation was announced by Oscar Temaru, who is the head of the pro-independence Tavini Huiraatira Party.
The group signed as statement to the United Nations seeking French Polynesia's reinscription on the list of territories to be decolonised.
