King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has invited Iraq's political leaders to talks in Riyadh to try to resolve a deadlock in forming a new Government.
The Saudi news agency SPA says the king will host the talks in Riyadh under the auspices of the Arab League after the annual Hajj pilgrimage, which ends in about three weeks.
Iraq has been without a new government since an election on 7 March failed to produce a clear winner.
King Abdullah held talks with Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa last week.
