Curious Crop waiting for buyers

When New Zealand went into its first lockdown, Anthony Tringham learnt one thing.

Heirloom tomatoes do not travel well by courier.

"They all got smashed," he says.

This time around harvesting is just starting for the gnarly heirloom and colourful cherry tomatoes in Curious Croppers' Clevedon greenhouses.

However with Auckland restaurants and the Clevedon Market closed there are few options for selling the crop.
